Re: Won't recognize memory card

[ Edited ]

Hello, i recently bought a BB 9000 bold. got a memory card but i cant use it, because there is always device memory either in desktop software or in my computer. i've searched the internet and some said that there is needed to turn off Mass storage mode, that way desktop software wont use my device memory, it will use the memory card. but it doesnt work. if i turn off the mass storage mode i cannot acces any memory not even device's memory

Re: Won't recognize memory card

Solution:
Format the memory card by installing it inside your bb ,connect it into a pc and use this SDFormatter v3.1 software to format by overwriting format

Re: Won't recognize memory card

I tried to fix mine for more than 1 hour and finaly it worked.so lets start.

1.Plug your phone via USB cable .

2.Insurt the memory crad .

3.while is pluged via USB remove the battery without removing the USB cable.

4.Put back the battery and turn on the prone.

5.Remove the USB cable to be able to see the Memory Card.

I hope it will work for you.after 1 hour fighting with it I tried this without reading it form forums and chats I just decided to tryi it and it worked for me.

I have 2 phones the same model. The first one reads the card like isntantly but the secod cannot recognize it so i am sure the memory card is ok and + it was brand news form the store I got it the same day.So one phone was reding it the other not and I tried many things and nothing.

So try the secuwnse and see if your prohne will be able to read it.

Regards
