it worked in my case 

i have blackberry torch 9800

plugging and unplugging ur headset while on speaker mode

Dear All, 

I'm experiencing the same problem "cannot hear voice on normal mode, but can hear voice when on headphones and speakerphone". What can I do? Can we get the solution from a BlackBerry professional? it looks like it's a recurrent issue for many users.
