is there any way to add symbols to my blackberry pearl 8100?

i mean, the symbols { } are just missing .. and i need them ..

do you have any idea how i can fix that?

While composing new email or SMS text press sym button (right side of space button) -> press E for { and press D for }

DF button is for ;

these symbols are not in the symbol list at all

To type a symbol, press the * key which left of the Space Button. This will provide a list of symbols from which you'll get your desired ones. This symbols will appear when you'll be composing messages.
