The 8220 is my first BB. I used to have the cingular 3125 smartphone and one of the most important features for me was having my next appointment show on the home screen. Then the reminder would come up (ie 15 minutes) I would hit dismiss and the next appoitment would show.
T Mobile BB techs tell me that this option is available on all the other BB's but they don't know how to activate it on the pearl flip 8220.
Has anyone been able to figure it out yet?
Thank you

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Try the options settings on Page 166.

Thank you for responding.
I followed the directions and now have 2 icons on home page called calendar but none of my appointments are showing on the screen.
What I was used to in my old smartphone was that I'd open the flip and see my 1st scheduled appointment for the day along with date, time, the usual stuff
The directions, an page 166, indicate that different themes might actually show the first few applications. Does that mean I have to download a different theme to make this work?
Can't believe that Blackberry won't allow me to do something that my 2 year old smartphone did. It must be me.
Any advice you have is much appreciated.
Thank you
Debj

So you would be looking for the today theme?
Does it look like this?

Not quite.
What I'm looking for is 3:00 dr's appt
Then when it comes up and I dismiss it the next one would say
5:00 basketball
I'm used to seeing the actual time of the next appt and a few words
The t mobile BB techs told me this is possible with the other bb's
Can it be done with the 8220?
Thanks

If this is it, it's a third party theme.
That's the best I can find, you might try searching for different versions.

hi
That is what I'm looking for.
I downloaded the file (2 actually 1 cod and 1 alx). I watched the video but can't follow along - it's too fuzzy.
I clicked on the files to see if that would start it and it says to use the web service to find an application to open it.
You've been so hopeful so far - could you advice me on how to continue, please? I'm obviously not well versed in this - my first download for a phone ever.
Thanks
