my pearl crashes often when i play music and i skip to the next song. The screen shuts off and the red LED light at the top flashes and then my phone goes through a long reboot

I took a look through your posts and found a common theme.  At this point it would be suggested to reload the software onto the BlackBerry.  Make sure you backup the BlackBerry before hand and avoid restoring the data until there has been a chance to test and make sure the problem no longer occurs.  Let us know how it goes.

Before reloading device software try the following:

step 1:

transfer all your files from internal memory to micro-sd memory card.

Make selective backup

step3:

After that on the device go to Options - Security Options - General Settings

Open menu and select "Wipe handheld"

Now, does the problem disappear? If so - restore the backed up information.

i found out that it was 1 song in particular that crashes my phone, so i just deleted it
