It's not hate, its Skype is owned by Microsoft now and not RIM, so chances are slim we get an actual Skype client. I would more like to see Skype intergration into Video Chat, allowing PB users to add skype users. Or even better more people buying Playbooks so we wouldn't need Skype period!
We will need Skype. Even if everyone has a PB, I have a cordless phone (Skype) system at home with an RTX dualphone for Skype +local phone service. So Skype for voice is something I need for the PB, no matter what.
Stop signing petitions. Instead, email Skype and ask to close your account. That's the only way they're going to listen, nobody cares about whining consumers who are too afraid to take action.
