Re: PlayBook + Bluetooth car stereo = ???

just installed OS 2.0 tonight which adds support for bluetooth headphones anb presumably other bluetooth audio devices (can't wait to see what else had been added) ... i re-installed/detected//listened although i'm not sure it was necessary, but the process was trivial ... had the biggest smile when the audio was piped to my headphones =D

fortunately for me, my iluv i222s included a transmitter/adapter that plugs into a standard 3.5mm jack essentially making any device bluetooth compatible ... so much more elegant that i don't have to use adapter now

Bravo Blackberry!!

The issues solved with my headset! Works with the upgrade.

P.S. The remote control feature with your handset is awesome

Re: PlayBook + Bluetooth car stereo = ???

one thing pointed out in another thread, the playboook volume locks to its max setting after pairing, so if your headphones (or other bluetooth audio device) doesn't have its own volume control the audio from your headphones is probably going to be very loud without any function to adjust

and, *ahem* of course i know what you meant tec, but for the record it's a HEADset as in stereo headphones, this isn't that kind of board
