I bought an external keyboard for easier typing when needed. For some reason it stops working intermittently, and then reconnects after a minute or so.  Is there any reason for this, or is it just a poor choice for the Playbook?

Is the Verbatim folding keyboard any better?

I'm having the same issue. The keyboard works fine on my PCs so it seems like an issue with the Playbook. There are plenty of reports of the same problem with other manufacturers' keyboards too. Grr.

i hear in OS 2 this should be resolved, let us know when it is released

I can confirm that the issue has NOT been resolved in OS 2.0.

Now do I take the keyboard back to the store or hang on hoping that an update will come forth in 2.1?

I hve been looking for a bluetooth keyboard, but everything is focussed on iPad. I see that Walmart here in Canada is advertising a Playbook Bluetooth Keyboard and case...any reports on whether it works or not?
