generally to avoid virus : don't install application from outside app world or untrusted sources .
Cause application on app world are tested by testing teams before launch.

You can't get a virus on your Playbook in this manner.

maybe you are misunderstanding my words , in particular the users general definition of "virus" virus for users are intended as all type of malicious software , there are no real PC virus for QNX, but i'm a developer and i can easily create a malicious software that , for example , delete all data on memory card without user permission . This will be not considerate as virus but can ruin some people day (and create many thread with "Help,Virus!!" on this forum). Usually this application shall not be pass on testing phase on Blackberry App World , so for me is a trusted source of application. Please click the Thumbs Up icon if this comment has helped you! So, you're saying you CAN, or rather it is possible, to create a virus to run on a PlayBook to delete all files, on the Playbook?

maybe you don't have read "there are no real PC virus for QNX" , i will repeat myself : malicious software can be created easily, not real virus . ANYWAY normal users call "Virus" anything perform unplanned action. i think i was clear. bye
