Authentication key

Hi,

I have PlayBook tablet. Where do I find authentication key? Do I need one? What is it used for?

Please use plain text.

Re: Authentication key

Where are you seeing that you need an authentication key?

Are you trying to connect to WiFi or something?

Re: Authentication key

Hello,

I came across the paragraph below and would like to know if it's something I need to know when working with the PlayBook, or not.

"The Service Routing Protocol (SRP) Identifier, that is seven characters long, uniquely identifies the BlackBerry Enterprise Server to connect to the wireless network. The SRP Authentication Key, that is 49 characters long, authenticates the SRP Identifier when connecting to the wireless network."

Please use plain text.

Re: Authentication key

You are not using a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Re: Authentication key

Then you won't need to worry with that... not a problem!

Good luck, enjoy your PlayBook...
