No one knows when, RIM has not announced anything certain.

IF all goes well with BB10, and handset devices are released late summer, fall 2012, I'd expect we might see it around then, or afterwards.

But, that's all just pure speculation.

At your own risk you may find instruction for 'upgrade' on Crackberry's forum. Info about the risky upgrade is also mentioned on http://www.blackberrydev.si

put dev alpha OS on Playbook. it might be ok fro devs to test aps but not for the average person to use as a daily OS.

Re: BB10 upgrade for playbook

Yea, I would not term that as an 'upgrade' at all.

And posting that information in these forums should include a very large and loud warning.

Re: BB10 upgrade for playbook

Surely you are not suggesting that an article in Crackberry by a Slovenian dev team about forcing in a cripped alpha build might be dangerous??

Yes the thread should be in the Developer forum surely.

Re: BB10 upgrade for playbook

Yes, you are right. It is PURELY ment for developers that didn't get BB10 Dev Alpha devices but want to develop for new platform.

Re: BB10 upgrade for playbook

Ah. Then I think I'd limit posting that information to the developer section of this forum.
