Badly Damaged Tablet

My bbtablet has received severe damage (cracked on one corner and screen crushed) . It will power up but is locked on the "enter password" prompt and since I cannot get the keyboard to scroll up I cannot open the tablet.

All I want is to be able to retrieve my photos.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you connect to your PC and sync the media from the Playbook?

You'd enter the password on your PC.
