Battery has sprung a leak?

Hi,

I found there are metal like stuf came out from side of playbook. There was a same problem I found at crackberry.com

http://forums.crackberry.com/blackberry-playbook-f222/sharp-pieces-side-my-playbook-726286/

I think it is dangous to use.  I contacted support and  was told crackberry is not an official resource and he never had seen the problem before. Then I should test myself.

Did anyone have this issue before?

Please use plain text.

Re: Battery has sprung a leak?

Hard to know for sure what it is unless a lab can tell youwhat it is.

Might be corrosion of the case, lithium usually burns when exposed to air.

Either way it might be good to call RIM warranty support and say it is leaking something and let them examine it.
