hi my playbook won't charge. display light acts as if charging by pulsing and changing to green, but no charge. Battery icon shows red with lightning bolt. PlayBook purchased June 2012. Do I need new internal battery? Am I covered by guarantee? Tried twitter feed but nobody answered. Any ideas? Thanks

LEAVE it connected to the wall outlet charger (not the USB > PC charger).
Leave it connected for 24 hours... every 3-5 hours, press and hold the power button only for about 20 seconds.
You will see the blinking red and perhaps yellowish LED light, and perhaps a symbol on screen of "no battery". That means the battery is drained, but it must reach a certain charge before powering on. Keep charging.

Thanks so much that worked fine. Notice it likes it's own charger best rather than the bb phone one. Big hugs and happy hogmanay when it comes ![]()

You're very welcome! And having a bit of Scotch blood in me, I appreciate your well wishes.
