Which device are you rebooting that causes the 9700 to hourgalss?
I have not noticed others reporting this.

You should not have to do this, but if you turn off the Bridge Bluetooth first before rebooting, what happens?

you need software 5.0 or later. I have downloaded this on my Bold 9700 and then ran the BB app world and using the scan facility to set up the bb bridge the program went all the way through until the final part when a message appears on the phone stating "Blackberry bridge is not available for download from balckberry app world" tried a number of times with the same result. I have telephoned BB and they stated that some carriers do not allow you to use BB bridge and you have to use the tethering option. I telephoned vodafone but they could not give me an answer whether they allow users to use BB bridge or not. so still not connected but using wifi only with goode mail. bit disappointed to say the least

Links for Bridge if your carrier blocks it in app world.

Will I be able to load BB Bridge to use with my BB 9000? Seems like I am being blocked and can't tell if it is carrier doing it or device compatibility.
If on OS 5, you will be able to download Bridge.
What OS are you on? On your smartphone device, type in a new message MYVER and a space after to see and report back please.
