I have the same Z10 and Playbook bridge, but no second download for me. Only difference, is I am on Bell and you appear to be on Rogers. I will try my second playbook tonight.
But the PlayBook is WIFI only, I doubt that it would have any way to know what carrier is on the phone, then again
Agreed, I knew it was a long shot....I was thinking perhaps the Z10 bridge could influence, but not likely. I turned my bluetooth/bridge off and on a few times and checked for updates after the initial download and reading your post, to no avail.
And so far, except for the obvious change, BlackBerry World instead of AppWorld, and the version number in the settings I can not see anything else

I had the same strange issue as others. My PB downloaded the first update, around 130 MB, failed during installation and then started downloading the 403MB update after I rebooted...
Seems almost like a waste of internet bandwidth to me, although I've had continual problems with apps crashing, pretty much %50 of the time ever since I got it. Its obviously a software problem, though, because when the apps don't crash everything works wonderfully. Doing a hard reset helps for a while, but after 12-18 hours it starts to randomly crash again. I've had to open e-mail 7 or 8 times before it would stay open. The browser crashes after one or two page views. However, I've noticed that only native apps ever crash. Sideloaded Android apps always work fine, as do most downloaded from App World...
My point being, everyone cross your fingers that this update helps me out!! Any more info as to what is included in the update is much appreciated.

I also updated both of our PlayBooks without issues. The installation took awhile, it seemed to stall at various points, but I just left alone.
Release notes according to Info on PlayBook Daily;
"OS Update 220.127.116.116 Includes the following updates for the W-Fi only PlayBook:
I assume I will not be asked to enter my email password over and over again.

So far here is my experience with the update. My Android ports (not side loaded apps) would not run after the first reboot . So rebooted again and they seem to work well now. However I had to reset my payment specs in BlackBerry World before I could purchase an app.

Installed with no issues. Not sure for its 133mb that it added much value and still no VPN PPTP yet!
Come on Blackberry, the bloody thing is called PlayBook, not WorkBook, which implies a consumer product not a business product. So we don't all need the highest commercial VPN security levels. iPad has PPTP - so please extract digits and provide an update
