I am unable to connect a BlackBerry PlayBook to work email via the work WiFi. I have configured all the settings but the BB PlayBook keeps reporting that it is unable to verify the settings against the server. Strangely enough I can browse the Internet fine but cannot get work email.
Another point: if I disable HTTP proxy settings on the work WiFi then work email comes through but then I cannot browse the Internet. Both work email and Internet browsing work fine from my home WiFi router. I do not suspect it is the proxy because we have users with Apple iPad and Android tablets and it works fine on these devices, same settings!
BB Playbook OS 184.108.40.2066, RAM is 32GB

Do you have the email configured on your BlackBerry PlayBook as a "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync" account or do you have it configured using another protocol, such as IMAP or POP?
