I'm desperate because ,  a few days ago I bought BBPB. When I put it in standby it restarts by itself exausting a battery. Can somebody help me to resolve this situation.

Have you upgraded the OS on the device to the new 2.10.1038 OS?

...It's also worth mentioning that standby in playbook means resting the screen and it will still use 50% of the power it uses in normal mode. it will even stream audio in "standby". The significant feature of standby is the keyboard eventually locks if you have set a password. But don't expect to leave it a couple of days on standby without using aircraft mode as all the transmitters stay awake in normal standby. Set it on charge or shut it down overnight.

When it wakes up does the screen come on? That's very unusual. Even on the desk charger you need to touch tbe screen to wake up the screen

I bought The Book a week ago and upgradet i immediately. When it wakes the screen is on as if fully working. No need to say that I didn't touch sceen in no way.

Take it back. Not normal behaviour.
