Blackberry Bridge & Bluetooth

Hi,

I can bridge my BB 9700 to my BB Playbook and it works Great. When I turn the Bluetooth off on the 9700 and then turn the Bluetooth back on, the Playbook and 9700 will not bridge unless I take the battery out of the 9700 and re-install it??

It will then bridge right away with the Playbook, is anyone else having this issue and is there a way to fix it?

Thanks!

Re: Blackberry Bridge & Bluetooth

First, turn on bt on both devices. Get them connected by bridge then on your 9700 go to manage connections, bluetooth options, then select your PB. Then select device properties and on Trusted select yes. It should connect automatically from there afterwards. I had the same problem and the above settings must be the fix because its worked perfect since on mine. Good luck and report back

Re: Blackberry Bridge & Bluetooth

Hi rshew

I have just bought one and have the same problem with my 9700. I don't take the battery out but have found that uninstalling then re-installing is the only way it will work.

Everything is great until I switch one off then it wont re-connect

Re: Blackberry Bridge & Bluetooth

Mine has been fixed last week by doing the uninstall devices from the BT on both, restarting both and then reinstalling, but now is failed again.  None of the bridge apps are working now and I need to resolve this.  Any other suggestions?
