The PlayBook knows where it is located. The present government bans the service within its borders. The best thing to do is get it setup in a legal neighboring country.
It has more to do with what the Government of the foreign country wants, RIM isn't listed for sale in many countries for various reasons, some political, some not. If you look at the country list, you will see that some features are not available in some countries.
Let's hope they have a way for free men to get round political baloney. RIM certainly should not be kow-towing to them. The internet is for all people without let or hindrance.
Carrier and payment systems complicated with goverment ties is not an easy task to deal with.
Internet is free in many places but not free everywhere. Some countries block searches, some block select info, some block pron and others make google look like a saint.
I know this wont help the issue but maybe make it easier for others to understand. I have friends around the world and not all are equal in freedom.
