Yesterday, the playbook was working fine and today I connected it to the PC and nothing worked. The PC would not recognize the playbook. I uninstalled the desktop software and reinstalled it to no avail. I also tried charging it and it would not charge. I bought the product in November 2011. Should I return it to where I bought it (BestBuy)? Also, it should be still covered under warranty correct?

I had the same problem and had to return for warrenty fix, search and you will find other threads on this topic

Thanks. I already knew about the warranty. So do I call Blackberry, and then bring it back to BestBuy for repair? I only bought the product the end of November 2011.

Nope, i disconnect from the USB port on the PC. Also, I am computer literate, so that question is redundant.

I have the same problem. It worked fine for a few weeks that I was able to enjoy it before the usb port came loose, now I'm tryign to find other ways to charge it. If you tried to charge it upside down then the usb port may have been damaged. A repair guy wanted $89.00 to fix it in an hour (ya right haven't seen any one fix some thing like that in an hour) Also if it's not under warenty, and the warenty only covers you for a few months then places like Best Buy won't be able to do any thing for you. If you can wait a few weeks ship it back to rim and have the usb port repaired or contact rim and see if they will replace the playbook.
