Help! I've tried resetting the tablet, updating the software. The tablet shows it is connected to the Windows 8 computer. The Blackberry Desktop Software cannot connect with the tablet. It lists under devices but it cannot connect. Help!

Hi pachi-bb,
Welcome to the Support Community!
Sorry to hear about the issue you are having connecting with the BlackBerry Desktop Software. To resolve this issue, I would recommend trying the second set of articles listed in the following KB article to help troubleshoot any connectivity issues. "Identifying and troubleshooting issues with the BlackBerry Desktop Software detecting a USB connected BlackBerry PlayBook" http://bbry.lv/Vy4v1G
Please let me know if this helps.

Hi,
I'm having the same problem. I'm using Windows 7 on Sony Vaio laptop.
On connection:
The Playbook screen 'Connected to Computer' appeares on the Playbook...
The PC Blackberry Desktop recognises the USB connection:
.. says it is connecting to the Blackberry device ..
.. then it gives message 'Problem connecting to your Blackberry Device' ...
The Playbook does not appear as a separate drive attached to my computer on my explorer file view.
When I check connected devices - Blackberry Device Manager - Volumes - I see that the volume is reported as not connected.
.....?
