Blackberry Playbook

Just noticed three points with the Playbook.

I cannot delete emails from the email account on the Playbook.

Cannot receive emails into the account on the Playbook.

Lastly cannot sync calendar from the computer to the Playbook.

This just happened.

Re: Blackberry Playbook

have you ever got you email to connect?

Is it via Bridge, POP, IMAP or EAS?

What service do you use for email?

Re: Blackberry Playbook

I have been using email since I received my Playbook, which was from the first issue.

When I installed the last update from Blackberry I was able to when I changed my Outlook calendar it would sync automatically to the PLaybook.

I use Microsoft Exchange for my emails.

I also use Bridge for my Blackberry Torch.

I use Outlook for my emails.

Thanks,

Re: Blackberry Playbook

I get the same problem almost daily even though the wifi connection is working just fine. A restart is the only way to fix it.

It' s a real pain as that makes checking emails a 5 minute job as the PB takes forever and a day to restart.

Getting tired of the nonsense. Couple that with a three hour battery life that means this tablet never leaves my bedside table.

8 months and ready for the trash bin.

Re: Blackberry Playbook

This is the first time that I have had this problem.

The Playbook has worked fine since it was first introduced.

Tried what you said and it still is unable to receive emails through the Playbook, I however receive emails through the Blackberry Bridge on to my Playbook.

Cannot still remove emails from the Playbook, but can on the Bridge email.

Re: Blackberry Playbook

You say you use exchange, is this via POP, IMAP or EAS?

i have not used legacy POP or IMAP in years. I have had no issue with EAS on my mail accounts.

Can you access exchange via EAS on playbook?

Re: Blackberry Playbook

I use Office 365 which means that I have an account in Outlook that uses exchange and not POP.

I can send and receive emails from the Bridge email section but not from the main email section on the Playbook.
