I bought a brand new bluetooth keyboard with scandinavian layout. All my settings and languages on the playbook are Danish.
But the Playbook insists on seeing the keyboard as a US keyboard.
How does one fix this? Its really annoying.

Not sure how this works exactly, but try editing the Bluetooth settings on the keyboard. Maybe when you paired the keyboard with your Playbook, Options - > Bluetooth - > (Select device)

I Have search for a solution on Crackberry.com. The answer there: The issue is between Keyboard an HID driver in PlayBook OS. At the moment it is not possible to change the Keyboard layout. A member write the problem is on todo list by rim for playbook os update.
I hope so.

Hi, regarding this issue, I installed and tested OS version 2.1.x Beta on the Playbook.
Still not solved, only english layout available.

Is there a way to know a mapping of the US keyboard? I have an Apple Bluetooth keyboard with Spanish Latin America layout but working as US when paired with PlayBook.
Given the fact that US layout is the only one available when using PlayBook it would really help knowing what special keys should I use to obtain accented characters. Otherwise, the good feature (ability to use an external keyboard) is useless.
