Bridge

Is it necessary to have a mobile network connection (e.g.. 3G/Data) for the Bridge APS to work?

 

I was on the subway this am and tried the bb bridge apps - the software works but there is no data when you look at your calendar or contacts. Mail has headers, but you cant get details.

 

I assumed all that would be required for the apps to work would be a blue tooth connection - is there another setting or should I try airplane mode?
