Why when looking under the browser permissions why do I see a list of sites? The setting is turned off.

I can think of three possibilities
1 they are old permissions from when it was switched on
2 you or someone has said yes to a request while browsing
3 it isnt working and theres a bug
I suggest you delete the existing permissions, then go to the offending websites and see if you get permission without being asked.
