Browser shutsdown

I have a blackberry tablet using the 2.0 software. When I open the comcast.net website the site opens open fills the screen and then closes down. I used to be able to open it but now it happens every time I open it. Is there a fix to this problem since comcast is my internet provider and my emails are on it.

Re: Browser shutsdown

Try the three button reset and let us know if it is successful .
Hold the Power Button and both volume buttons down all at the same time for 15 seconds.Wait 1 minute then hold the power button down again until the red light flashes (about 4 seconds). PB should boot up again in about 3 minutes..

Re: Browser shutsdown

I find that whenever my grandson (5 yrs) comes over, he likes playing games on my PB. After he leaves I notice small things wrong such as my predictive text does not work, other things like that. So game playing makes changes in some settings but does not change back afterwards. So to correct these irritants, I do a restart and everything returns to normal.

Re: Browser shutsdown

:Oops:I reported my tablet and and it's doing it again. Do I have to do a hard reset every time I want to visit Comcast.net?

No you should not have to unless there is some other problem.

Re: Browser shutsdown

Try clearing the cache, cookies and history. Then restart the browser. See if that helps. I was just on the website and had no problems.

Re: Browser shutdown

:No:I tried cleared the cache, the cookies and the history. I also cleared local storage. Went to comcast.net and after it opened it still shutdown. The only way I could find to stop this was to disable JavaScript. However, many of the subheadings said loading and never loaded.

Re: Browser shutsdown

I checked the Comcast website and it throws me out as soon as it opens. First time I have seen this on any website on my PB.
