After updating to Playbook OS 2.1 Desktop manager 7.1 can no longer connect to Playbook. It sits there from the longest time saying connecting and then says there are network issues and gives a bunch of useless advice on how to solve the problem. The playbook is no longer assigned a drive number by windows either. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop manager but it still doesn't work. Shut down my firewall and antivirus, still nothing works. My Curve 9360 connects fine but the whole problem started when updating to OS 2.1. I'm really getting tired of all the issues with blackberry. I was a real fan but this is just becoming too much. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit on a 3rd generation i7 processor. All my USB ports are USB 3. Thanks.

uninstall device manager (not desktop manager) , reboot and connect playbook after and it should install teh latest version after a few minutes or more like 10 on mine.
BESAdmin's, please make a signature with your BES environment info.
BES 12 and BES 5.0.4 with Exchange 2010 and SQL 2012 Hyper V
