Can't connect Wifi

I can't connect to the Wifi in my Mothers house for some reason. I haven't had any problems connect to Wifi with my Playbook any other time. She just has an AT&T router and it shows up on my Playbook as Saved-Open but it is WEP protected and not actually open. When I try to connect to the Wifi my Playbook says Attempting to Connect 1 of 3 then comes up saying X connection terminated? Does anyone have any ideas?

Try "Connect Manually" and enter in the information instead of just selecting a network it found.

Yeah I tried to do it manually too but I got the same results and it said connection timed out. I couldn't get it to go past attempt to connect to network 1 of 3, I even called AT&T but I forgot no one was there today.
