Can you use Bridge on an Airplane?

As we have all heard when you are on an airplane you are supposed to shut off all transmitting functions on your personal devices.  Assuming you follow this rule then how are you supposed to browse documents such as PDFs on your Playbook?

Let's say you fly to London for a few days and you only take your BB and PB.  While you are in London you are sent a 50 page PDF file.  How can you read this on your plane trip home?

Please use plain text.

I would emaiul the file to my gmail account then download **bleep** to my PlayBook using the non-bridge browser. Not perfect but it works.
