I also have the same problem. For some reason the tablet duplicates network name as SSID #. I tried to connect by typing correct SSID number as well as the password set during installation of the router (D-link DIR601).
I have to access wi-fi by pressing the button (WPS) on router. But, this is not a safe mode.
