Hi,
I recently bought a PB and I was doing the setup when I reached a screen where BB try to update the OS. Its giving me the (3000) error. My wifi is working and I tried doing a ping to google.com and the ping response came back on my PB which means internet is connected.
Could any one please let me know why this errror is coming and I can't continue further due to this OS update erreor (3000). I am frustrated...!!!!!

perhaps the update server is having some issues today, I noticed another user with error earlier today.

Thanks for the info,
So this means my PB is ok and its the issue of the BB update server which is why I am getting this error?
When do you think this issue would be sorted out?
I cant get to the next step as it is asking for this step to complete first. I wish the software has a SKIP option to do the updates later and go to next step.

Had update probs for the last 8 hours get to wifi ok then no joy with software update, ERROR 9

Gotta brand new playbook yesterday and started updating my PB with the fresh OS but due to slow wifi it always got help up in between. Tried updating full day today and its showing cannot connect to the update server (2011). What the hell gota a new playbook and cant use it. What do i do? HELP?
