A problem started on my Playbook a few days ago. When I try to fill in a box or type an email, only the first letter registers. From that point on, no other keystrokes are recorded. For example if I want to write "Thank you" , I can get the T down, but the playbook stops accepting characters after the T.

Try restarting the Playbook... touch the upper right battery icon > restart.
Afterwards, see how it goes now.
