Device password while purchasng apps!

Whenever I am trying to purchase nd download apps from the app world through laptop, it is asking for device password upon connecting the tab. But i have not activated any password in the playbook! PLS help..

I don't believe the Playbook supports purchasing apps via the website and usb connection - you need to use App Store on the tablet itself via wifi.

It doesn't, you need to be connected to WiFi.

So can't we purchase applications from the blackberry app store in the net and sync it with PlayBook? Neways thanks a lot for replying.
