CBC news, as stated above, works fine for me.

 

Of course, I don't give a flip about reading it, but it hits the Playbook perfectly.

Found a solution to the news apps not working ... delete and reinstall - presto!!

Worked for National Post app ... CBC app won't reload ... Ottawa Citizen app reloads but crashes during download of a new edition of the paper!

I just get a blank screen with CBC News; ditto with Van Sun & Times-Colonist. I tried uninstalling the CBC News app ...and now it won't reinstall!

am I the only one who feels the entire browser is quirky after the "downgrade" to new OS? Where is the open in new tab option when I hold a link? yes got newbattery icon, along with increased charging time and loss of usability of thirdparty chargers. More old apps stopped functioning than there are new business / work apps available. RIM may become extinct if they dont start showing they hear the complaints.

CBC stopped working for me as well, and I can't reinstall as App World is also screwed (another common complaint posted in this forum). It is not good when an update breaks your own software, especially software that drives your revenue.

MiataMike, I agree with you, sombody at RIM better wake up and listen to us. Everyone of us has our own unique prespective and use the PB differently and we find glitches that need to be fixed and what better place to find out what's wrong than here. ARE YOU LISTENING RIM?

This is a peer to peer support forum. RIM might come look at times but is not monitoring the forums.

 

Best thing is to call the support number and get a case logged. Then they will know.

This is a BlackBerry Support forum, if they aren't monitoring our comments and input, what's the point? We can help others in the crankberry forums and other simular forums. Oh yea I tried the link above and sent email trouble request and never go any response. Go figure!
