Hi JSanders - Done the scroll down and swipe left & right. I'll try to download an app and re-install one of the ones i deleted yesterday when i get home later. I'll post my results (if there are any) later today.

Yep, no problem. There could be folders on your device the icons could install to?

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Do some research on the usual cause of this on a playbook before giving generic advice. 99 out of 100 the icons are on a part of the home screen that needs to be scrolled to. 

Now (s)he's deleted, can't redownload, we don't know where (s)he is.

Reinstalled os. Seems to have done the trick.

I'm having the same problem. I brought mine last night downloaded some apps but can't find them......have u sorted the problem out? I've tried everything suggested on here but still don't now wherefore find them

dannielle, have you exited AppWorld on your Playbook?

If so, on the home screen, you can scroll down and swipe to another panel side to side. Do you see any icons you've not seen before?
