Well I found out exactly what was happening here the other day. RIM are you listining, please read and troubleshoot:
If you send an email from your PlayBook you will get the red X with the message saying "There was an interruption in sending the message. Please try again"
The Message actually does send
So now you have a message in your PlayBook inbox that say the email did not send the email has actually sent
You send a new message and the new message sends with no issues but the message that has teh red X on it from before gets reset again. If you keep sending emails the red x email will keep being redelivered
If you delete the message with the red X, then the next message that you send does the same red X thing, it delivers but says it didnt and again this email with the red X will keep delivering for every email that you send after you get it
I have wipped the device clean and still ahve the same issues, I have 15 other people on the same system with no issues.
So as you can see RIM, THIS IS AN ISSUE. Why are you not fixing it? This is not a time where you can afford to be smug and think it will just go away. Why is this not fixed!!!!! Seriously RIM this is your support forum why has no one officially commented on the situation and a solution to the problem?

...i am being very patient. It would be reassuring for somebody from RIM to say something about this...even if it is..."this is too small a problem for us to worry about right now...you will have to wait for the next update..." then at least we would know how long we have to deal with this.

So frustrating....... Just when I finally got my exchange email working, this update messes eveything up. And the killer to all this is that my exchange email works perfectly with my wife's iPad! Not entirely sure why I just havent bought one. Thinking it's time....
I was hoping that I could wipe everyhing clean and start over. Butfrom someone the posts, it seems several of us have tried without any success........
I just sent 11 emails containing photos to a client last night, and 6 to another this morning. Not very professional, and unacceptable in my business.
Was going to wait for the new BB10 inhopes that it washing to besomething special. But am almostcertainthat it will be about as disappointing as the Playbook lauch......

I haven't checked any other forums or threads because I've been swamped the last 2 weeks , but has there been any progress on this?
I haven't used my PB since this update.
I really wish I hadn't bought RIM shares. What a **bleep** show.

...no progress that i am aware of. Not sure how we get any more traction on this. Robert_66 one of the original posters on this had opened a ticket....apparently there has been no resolution from RIM since he said he would post the fix here. Definitely stinks.

Well here is an update. I have talked to RIM on the phone, they have a log specialist calling me today. I have sent them my log files from my device. So once they get me an answer they hopefully are going to fix it. The person I am talking to said this is the first he has heard of it in their center. So it would not seem in this case that RIM knows about the issue.
I also did some testing yesterday as I have about 5 PlayBooks in the desk here, I did a test of my account on an old 18.104.22.16871 OS and I have no issues. As soon as I send an email on the newer os problem again.
I alos noticed that when you have a red X email and you go to send a new email, if you watch close the red x email will try to send again but fail but just like the first time it does end up sending. So this seems like a issue of the email getting stuck in the outbox of the PlayBook.
I will update everyone on the answer to our issues by RIM

When he said that this was teh first they heard of it I did tell them about the Crackberry forum and the one here, he did not seem to interested to be honest. Not to say he didnt care but I am sure they deal with that all the time hearing peole say "Well i posted it on your forum"
Again it also might be RIMs policy to never admit they know of a problem because then peopel might ask why its not solved yet. Treat every problem like it is the first time you are seeing it, make it seem like RIM has come to the rescue
Well at liest I feel like we are getting somewhere....

One problem with RIM's support system, if your PB is older than 90 days old its not easy to report software upgrade problems without going through the time consuming hassles to contact them. Why can't. They put up a problem report Page so we can send problem report like the betazone.
