I haven't seen an update. Did you download the beta 2.1 from the website? If I can find it I will try to update using desktop manager. I haven't used my Playbook since this issue arose and won't until I get this cleared up. Cannot believe it is taking so long.
Where is this beta OS you speak of? Only way to install OS is through RIM, you cannot side load OS and you have to have your PIN added to their system to allow the update.
Actually after reading the blogs RIM has been internally testing 2.1.0.560 and is said to be released end of May. This is all speculations of course and not hard facts.
I can confirm also that the problem has not been solved in the latest OS update as promised by RIM. Come on RIM this is just stupid! I will be calling them again today.
Sorry Guys I forgot to tell you that RIM support called me the other day and has now asked if they could have an email address on our system to replicate the issue at their end so they can test. I created them an acocunt and they were able to reproduce the issue with their PlayBooks inhouse. The tech I was working with said that he will keep testing with each internal dev release untill he knows it has been fixed and will then let me know the OS version number that will correct this issue. I will update this ticket with that information as well so people know what OS update will fix this issue.
