Extremely Strange Behaviour; Possible Security Issue

[ Edited ]

This morning my tablet did some very strange things. Before I locked it up for the night the only running application was the calender.

General system information:

Purchased March 2012,

All my applications were default except for:

Morse Code Generator

QR Scanner

Files and Folders

Need For Speed

This morning when I woke up I grabbed the tablet I wound up accidentally editing a calender event. My tablet is set to automatically lock after 30 minutes, and I had manually locked it before I went to bed. For some reason it was unlocked.

The browser was also open (I had closed it the prior night) to some random website that was mostly in chinese. Looking at the browser history there were a number of random pages of a similar description in there.

I really needed my tablet to do some work today, so I did a security wipe. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
