Hi, use the BlackBerry Desktop Software to upload files (such as movies) into your PB (obviously with a usb cable). That´s the way I did it.

It´s abit like the iPad and iTunes, the PlayBook needs the BlackBerry Destop-Software to the job. Go to the PlayBook website, search for "BlackBerry Destop-Software", choose between BlackBerry for Mac or BlackBerry for PC, install (on your Mac or PC), connect your Mac/PC with your PlayBook (follow instructions), copy and paste your files from Mac/PC to your Playbook.

Actually, above mentioned system is more or less a way for getting files (incl. Movies) into the PB, otherwise have a look at this thread: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-
Hope this helps you a bit further.

You can also just use the Windows file explorer to copy the file, and if you have enabled the WIFI sharing on your Playbook you can do this uwing the WIFI, I do it this way all the time.
PS. Just make sure that the file you that you transfer is not DRM protected, it does not matter which way you transfer it, if it is DRM protected it will not play
