Front camera doesn't work

Iniatially my 16 GB playbook it doesn' t turn on, then RIM gave me support and using bb desktop software i made a hard reset of the tablet, downloading the new os 2.1.0.1032 plugging the tablet with the usb cable to pc, this works ok (the process takes more than 1 hour and then you must leave plugged on the power for more than 8 hours) but now the front camera is not working, only gives me black screen and even i can' t change to the back, i have to turn off the application and turn again, please HELP

There are only three stages with apparent hardware faults.

 

1. Shut down then start up again.  if that does not fix...

2. Reload OS using USB (like you already did).  if that does not fix...

3. Warranty or repair.

Does your chat work? If so you have the same problem I do after the 2.1.0.1032 update.

I don't think the problem is hardware, because this happens after install the new OS, it does anybody has a solution?

If it's software as you say, reinstall the OS with debrick/usb method .

If it still does not work it's a hardware repair job.

Call RIM support if you don't take our word for it.
