I do appreciate the suggestions, but this is not the solution for me, as I really do want to keep my native messages, calendar, contacts and tasks synchronised with my Company's Yaziba server when connected by WiFi.

I think that the absence of this option is an oversight by RIM.
Obviously different people use their PB in different ways, but I would be surprised if I am the only PB owner that would like Bridge to have this option.

After all, there really is a big difference between downloading mails on a mobile network using the two methods.
the phone downloads from BIS (in my case) and limits the size of the downloaded e-mails (and probably compresses them). The PB, via Bridge, downloads directly from my company's mail server without any compression or size limitation, so this method will naturally be slower, even without the fact that it is trying to synchronise messages, calendar, contacts and tasks..

I have the 9700 Bold phone and ver 2.1.0.1088 Playbook.  Can I use a download BB Bridge without paying additional fees to AT&T?  When I purchased the Playbook, I decided not to get the Bridge because of additional fees charged by AT&T.

Hey,

I have a thing I would really need to see in the Bride app, which is foreign letters.

U see I am german and normally I swipe the trackpad a little while presing a similiar letter and get the letter I need, but it is not possible in the Bridge app. Because u need the trackpad for scrolling in the bridge app, maybe u wanna give it an extra shortkey, like pressing shift and that special char or u do it like in the smartphones.
