Well, I unwisely ran the PlayBook .1088 update last night and I am regretting it big tIme!

Just like with the .668 Update over this past summer, this .1088 update is slowing down the email App considerably!

I really need to go back to the .1032 to be able to read my messages.  How do I do this downgrade?

crochetsister, No, you can't downgrade.

What you need to do

1. go to your Playbook Options (top right corner icon).
2. Scroll to Accounts.
3. Delete your native email accounts set up on the PlayBook.
4. Now, restart the PlayBook (touch the battery icon > restart)
5. After the restart, go back to your accounts and setup those native email accounts again.

Many, many thanks for suggesting this.   Your advice was right on!  I was able to put all 22 of my emails back on the Playbook and they seem to be running fine now.

lucky your on a playbook, ipads and android tabs would take more than 3x longer!
