Backup worked fine all the way up to one of the 1.0.7.xxxx releases. Then it stopped and has not worked since. Hope they fix the desktop software soon. Manual backup is a workaround, but it does not backup any of the settings.

I have the same backing-up problems as everyone else...but I have a question. Do I have to re-purchase my paid apps. after a security wipe?? That would be painful
no, you can reinstall them with your BB ID
BESAdmin's, please make a signature with your BES environment info.

I was unable to get my Playbook to do a backup with the program on the PC so I copied files to the PC using the files option below the backup option. Then I encountered a problem with the BlackBerry file program reporting a file initialization error (?).
How does one manually backup the native browser biikmarks/favorites? Where are the native browser bokmarks/favorites kept?
