Ok I have an e-mail address that is work related and is only available when I am connected to my WIFI at work. the email works great but,  I cannot figure out how to get my contacts into the PB contacts. I have about 400 contacts and it will take forever to manually enter them.

any suggestions

There are a couple of workarounds for this, but first, where are your contacts stored now?

they are on my laptop at work, I have the BB desktop software but it says I can't sync with it

I need a specific answer please.

On your laptop? Handwritten on stacks of paper sitting on your laptop? 

Or in a some other software IN your laptop?

What software are they in?

Yeah there on a bunch of f@+_in paper

They are on my dell computer running windows 7 and the email is outlook that's about all I can give you as I have said before I am not the sharpest nail in the box

The following applications are supported for synchronization with BlackBerry® Desktop Software 7.1:

• IBM® Lotus Notes® 6.5, 7, 8, and 8.5
• Microsoft® Outlook® 2003, 2007, 2010 (32-bit & 64-bit modes)
• Microsoft® Outlook® Express
• Windows Calendar (Windows Vista)
• Windows Contacts (Windows Vista, Windows 7)

Once you install the BlackBerry Desktop Software, click on the Organizer button and you will be prompted to set up the app for sync.

Your office.. you're not on an office Enterprise email system, are you?

Well I know my torch is on an enterprise system as for the network (see my first post) I don't really know would that make a dif ?
