I want to listen to a radio station's webcast stream. Playbook is connected to power, not running off battery. How do I keep it from going to sleep every 5 minutes and stopping the audio stream?

You can prevent the playbook stand by up to five minutes,
go to settins, tap in the screen icon, from there you can:
Turn off the screen automatically
On the status bar, tap > Screen. Change the Backlight Time-out field.
Enter standby mode automatically
On the status bar, tap > Screen. Change the Standby Time-out field.
Have a nice day![]()

therein is the problem, i don't want it to sleep in 5 minutes, I don't want it to sleep at all. I want to listen to the audio web stream without touching the screen every 5 minutes.

This appears to work (crackberry article), followed those instructions, showcase in the settings. Then that app keeps the playbook from sleeping. It's a workaround but I wouldn't call this a fix, RIM has some work to do on this...

Well glad it works for now at least. And I agree the PlayBook still needs alot of work it has only had 3 major software updates so far though. Hopefully the next one is a large one.
