Maybe I could try something simpler (I hope!)

When I have a new incoming e-mail in Messages, can I somehow save the sender's e-address as a Contact?

Thanks, Ch.S.

Set up a brand new account at outlook.com, export your contacts from wightman and import to outlook.com

Change the wightman account settings on playbook to turn off contact sync.

Then add the outlook.com account to playbook with contact sync on.

There is no need to use the new account for email, though it is handy to have an additional emailaddress for forums etc.

Both accounts will have access to the contacts and either can add contacts which will sync to outlook.com

Unfortunately you will have to keep both sets of contacts in sync manually by re-exporting to wightman.

Good thing is you now have a backup of contacts if playbook is ever reset to factory settings or breaks.

Like knottyrope my premium advice is drop wightman and use outlook.com instead, but that can come later.

Just told you. If you don't understand what I said, I would forget it.
