Keypad unresponsive

This has become worse & worse the last few days; I touch letters on the keypad & nothing happens - or it responds several minutes later so I end up typing nonsense. Right now I've been locked out of an important website & cannot even log back in as the Playbook refuses to respond to anything. I've tried touching the keys gently & hitting the really hard - nothing happens. Is there any way of 'refreshing' the screen to make the keypad respond again? Thanks

Have you tried restarting your Playbook?
