Yesterday I downloaded the upgrade for OS 2.0. Things were fine at first but then all hell broke loose.
1. The upgrade made my tablet begin to stall. Keep in mind I don't have many items taking up space.
2. It takes FOREVER for the table to power off or restart.
3. I finally was able to get all of my e-mail, twitter, and FB accounts uploaded but now I can't even access them. My tablet has been like this sine 5 a.m. this morning!!! I see a blank screen with a green circle spinning. I get that when I open my e-mail, my contacts, and the Accounts Set-Up page. I can't even get the option to see my accounts that were set-up on the PB settings screen. I've been connected to Wifi and still nothing. I've shut down the PB, restarted it...and right now I'm at a loss.
4. I get this weird error when some times looking at the web browser. I will need to take a pic of it the next time it comes up.
I was way geeked about OS 2.0 being released...BUT now I want to go back to the way things were! ![]()
Solved! Go to Solution.

Try this, while connected to your charger. Press and hold the Power key, up and down volume (-/+) all three buttons simultaneously, for about 10-12 seconds. You should the red LED blink and that should allow a reset of the PlayBook and to power up.
Don't power it down and restart it.

Hi. I tried your suggestion and held down the buttons for close to 20 seconds. I did not see the LED blink. Turned on PB again and still having same issue. Tried it more than once.

Make sure you're pressing all three (power, up, down volume) keys. It should work.

Well, at least you're on the right track.
Make sure your WiFi connection is good, or try another one.

Thought I add this on my review...
Apps that were ported over from Android and installed and successfully run.
1.) There's no task manager to shut down the Android App
2.) There's no way to shut down the other Android App that's running
3.) After running 3 or 4 Android Apps, you cannot run other Android Apps.
4.) I'd have to reboot the Playbook completely in order to run other Android Apps.
This is a SERIOUS FLAW in Playbook OS v2.0.0.7971
