When I open Contacts or Messages I get a message :"This application was interrupted, Please close and open it again.(30000)". This happens over and over again. I can't get my email on my Playbook. How can I fix this?

I'm getting the same problem and also with calendar. I'm currently restoring from a back up.

The restore finished and supposedly worked but the playbook is in exactly the same state as it was before. I don't know what to try next.

Are you also getting the error 3000 message?
Can you try deleting your email account on the Playbook, and the restart the PB, and then setup the email again.

Thank you. Deleting all my accounts has fixed the problem. I can now open Messages, Contacts, and Calendar which I couldn't do before. Now I just need to add all my accounts again.
Yes, I was getting the same error message.

Yes, many times, but no change. I'll try deleting my accounts, but I'll need to check my sttings first. A.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, the message concludes with (30000). I'll try deleting and reentering my accounts. (one at a time) A

I deleted one at a time, each time no change, same message. After I deleted the last one and retried messages (before restarting), it offered to initiate new accounts. after setting up my hotmail, messages gave me all my old emails and a few new ones, so I think your solution works. thanks for your interest.
